Habits Transactional List Printable

Contemporary with removing bad habits, good ones should refill those empty spaces. And this is the only consistent way of not falling back into addictive patterns while building up new ones. So to keep track of the transformation, I built a habits transactional list.

My list has two parts:

  • On the left, there is the attitude I am trying to eliminate. For example, stop watching videos on YouTube or using my smartphone before going to bed.
  • On the right, there is the habit I am trying to acquire. For example, meditating for 10 minutes or reading for 30 minutes every day.

To enhance the effect of this technique, start with one habit at a time. For example, never start a new activity if you haven't scored seven repetitions of the latter first. If you succeed, stack another task on top of the old one. So it becomes easier to repeat them. For example, if you want to meditate and read daily, start with meditation and include reading afterward.

If you want to read more about the habits transactional list, check out "The Complete Plan to Easily Improve Your Life (in Only 6 Months)." So you can discover how to improve your life bit by bit every month. The plan includes both techniques and ideas for six months. It starts with easy tasks like finding your dreams and finishes with more complex ones like working out consistently.
